Our Story

Cellier is an old French word which means storeroom. In the time when electricity was not widely available, the storeroom was the coolest room in the house and the place where vegetables, cured meats and wine were stored for easy access.

Le cellier is different from the cellar (la cave) where wines are aged – removal to le cellier signifies the wine is ready to be browsed, selected and enjoyed by the household.
