A traditional Piedmontese aromatised wine, showing the typical bitter notes of Wormwood combined with delicate hints of spices and flowers. Founded in the late 1800’s, four generations of the Quaglia family have guided Distilleria Quaglia through more than a century of artisan production, modernising it where needed whilst cherishing the older, traditional methods of distilling. The distillery was established just after the Unification of Italy in 1871 between Monferrato and the hills towards Turin.

Description: Vermouth Superiore from fourth generation distiller, Carlo Quaglia. Alcohol is infused with a selection of herbs and spices, including; wormwood, lemon balm, cinnamon, mace, ginger, rose, sage, turmeric and amung others, for a 60 day period. The botanicals are then pressed and sugar and Piemontese wine (100% Cortese DOC) are added to make the Vermouth, followed by a light filtration and bottling.
